The Secondary School of Civil Engineering, Land Surveying and Environmental Studies Ljubljana is a modern school offering vocational education programs with 2 and 3 year courses and technical secondary education programs with 4 year courses.
Vocational school final year students can become qualified professionals in a variety of trades: a brick layer, carpenter, stove maker – tiler, stonecutter, bricklayer’s assistant or building machinery operator. Technical school graduates obtain a secondary school certificate in civil engineering, land surveying or environmental studies. Adult education is organized for most of our programmes as well as national trade qualifications (NPK) and building site supervisor training.
The school is located in a peaceful and green area in the vicinity of the Residence Hall of Secondary Students and other educational institutions, with good public transport connections.
Our school facilities include 30 well equipped classrooms, 6 IT classrooms, workshops, the polygon to teach practical skills, laboratories for science classes and professional subjects, an engineering bureau, library with a reading room, sports hall and dental health care service.
We take part in various national and international projects, competitions and partnerships: Erasmus+, UNESCO and Healthy School.
Our students find work placements at school and in companies to complete compulsory practical training.
Our graduates continue their studies in institutions of higher or university education to become highly competitive in the job market. The demand for these jobs has increased in the recent years.
